HOTEL SOINTU – BOOKING CONDITIONS
These Hotel Sointu (“Hotelli Sointu Oy”) Booking Conditions (the “Booking Conditions”) apply to accommodation bookings by individuals at Hotelli Sointu. The person booking the accommodation is hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”. The booking conditions for group bookings and information on cancellation and change rights can be obtained from the Hotel Soinnu sales service separately when making a group booking. A group booking is when the number of hotel rooms included in the Customer’s accommodation booking is 3 or more.
PRICES AND FEES
The prices of the hotel rooms offered by Hotel Sointu (hereinafter individually referred to as the “room”) vary according to the time and demand. Hotel Sointu can also offer various additional services available during the accommodation (such as breakfast, various gift cards, parking, etc.), the availability and prices of which are indicated separately from time to time. In addition, Hotel Sointu may, at its discretion, offer rooms and additional services at various special and combined rates as part of limited promotions. All valid prices and offers are available on Hotel Sointu’s website at www.hotellisointu.fi. The customer accepts any cancellation and change restrictions related to the price booked, which are stated in connection with the booking process, eg in the Price Summary.
The prices quoted include the current VAT.
The room reservation made by the customer is paid in advance at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated by Hotel Sointu. Hotel Soinnu reserves the right to charge and pre-authorize credit cards upon booking.
BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
Room reservations are made via the Internet at www.hotellisointu.fi.
When making a reservation and no later than 24 hours before the announced arrival date, the Customer must provide the personal data required by Hotel Soinnu for all persons belonging to the same accommodation reservation with the Customer. If the Customer does not provide this information in the manner mentioned above, Hotel Sointu has the right not to confirm the Customer’s reservation or to cancel the reservation already made and to return the price paid by the Customer to the Customer. In addition, in Finnish hotels, all persons staying in the room are required to fill in the passenger cards in the room and leave them in a visible place in the room upon departure.
The reservation made by the Customer will become binding on Hotelli Soinnu once the Customer has made the payment in connection with the reservation of the room and received the booking confirmation of Hotelli Sointu by e-mail.
Once the reservation has been confirmed, the accommodation establishment does not have the right to increase or, accordingly, the obligation to reduce the agreed accommodation price or otherwise change the terms of the reservation, unless such change is due to a change in legislation or mandatory regulations. However, the fixed price may not be increased.
In the case of bookings made through external sales channels, the Booking Conditions of the external sales channel shall prevail, as applicable.
BOOKING CHARGE AND PAYMENT TERM
The reservation is paid at the time of booking. If the accommodation reservation and other fees charged by Hotelli Soinnu have not been charged for the entire duration of the room reservation, Hotelli Sointu will charge the reservation fee and other fees separately by invoice. The invoice will be sent to the billing address provided at the time of booking. The invoice is due 14 days after the invoice date.
RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
The customer can cancel their reservation within the cancellation policy of the used booking channel and the booked price. If the booking has been made via Hotelli Sointu’s website, the cancellation must be made by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. If the booking was made with an invoice, any new invoice or refund invoice for changes or cancellations will be sent to the contact person indicated in the booking.
The customer has the right to change or cancel their reservation free of charge no later than 72 hours before the start of the reservation. The customer will receive a refund as a payment or credit to the credit card. Reservations made later than 72 hours prior to arrival may no longer be changed or canceled. Separate booking conditions apply to groups and changes / cancellations must be made directly through the sales service.
Note! Reservations received through Booking.com or another booking channel must be changed and canceled at the same time as the booking is made. The right of change and cancellation does not apply to bookings whose terms do not include the rights. The applicable cancellation policy may vary depending on the room type selected, the time of day and the terms of any promotional campaign. The cancellation policy applicable to the customer’s booking is stated in the product description that appears at the time of booking.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that he is thoroughly familiar with the applicable cancellations
